About me
A rich musical path
Hailing from Slovenia, Martin has many musical experiences, both locally and internationally. At the University in Graz, under the mentorship of Thomas Lechner of the Vienna Philharmonics, Martin honed his classical percussion skills, laying a foundation for his musical career. It’s this classical base that enriches his understanding and execution of modern rhythms.
The drumming side of his studies was shaped by private lessons with the legendary Dom Famularo, among other notable instructors, enhancing his skills and knowledge in modern drumming techniques.
From studio to stage
Whether performing with his jazz/funk trio or teaching in his studio, Martin lives for music. His collaborations span genres and borders, reflecting a career as dynamic as his teaching style.
